The Edgar County Genealogy Library(ECGL) is an offspring of both the Edgar County Historical and Genealogical Societies, and is staffed by Genealogical Society members/volunteers.

• The Library is located in the Museum Annex at 408 N. Main St.
• Hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
•             1st Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Closed all major holidays
• Experienced library staff to answer your research questions
• Photocopies available
• Reasonable search fees when request form is mailed to Library
• No fee to use the Library during regular hours
• $5.00 per hour fee is charged for appointments made outside regular hours

All library volunteers have years of research experience; are members in one or more local, or state genealogical and historical ogranizations.
