Who we are:
- A group dedicated to gathering, preserving and sharing local archives and family genealogies with all those who have called Edgar County Home from 1823 to 2010 and beyond.
What we have to offer:
- Surname files; Obituaries & death records; Cemetery records; Military records; Edgar County History; plus many, many other records.
- We have new material that comes in daily, so our inventory of resources continues to grow!
Where we are located:
- 408 N. Main Street, just north of the railroad tracks in the Museum Annex building. Parking is available behind the building or just north on Roberts Street.
When we are available:
- Our hours are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- The library is also staffed the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- If you would like to make arrangements to visit some other time, please call 217-463-4209 or 217-463-5305. (There is a small fee.)
